Your Stages of Spiritual Awakening: Step 3
Here is Step 3 in crafting your own stages of spiritual awakening from the direct experiences of your life.
Steps 1 and 2 were excavations. In Step 1 you made visible the landscape of your imprinting around spiritual awakening. And Step 2 brought recognition to personal sacred eruptions, those experiences of awakening that disrupted the status quo and opened you to dimensions of reality previously unseen.
Step 3 shifts the focus from excavation to reclamation. What you are reclaiming is spiritual power. In order to do this, you will consciously reenter your sacred eruptions and validate revelations.
Throughout this entire process you have been intentionally allowing your intuitive wisdom to guide the way. In this step you continue to practice trusting your inner knowing. This will free you from any impulse to performing awakening or to constructing a narrative based on ideas of what is “right.”
At every moment celebrate your freedom by choosing the direction and mode of attention that truly interest you. Only you Know what you Know.
Now deeper into The Steps of your Spiritual Awakening…
Step 3: Claim your revelations.
Return to your excavation from Step 2 and spend some time refreshing connection with the landscape of your sacred eruptions. Allow yourself to gaze on what you brought forth in an open way. Simply take in anew all that you excavated in the previous step.
When you have attuned to your material, ask your Intuitive Wisdom to light up a sacred eruption where spiritual power is ready to be reclaimed.
Wherever your attention is guided, let it be what it is.
In your own way, open connection with the sacred eruption that you were guided to. Turn towards reveling in that sacred eruption. To “revel” means to enjoy immersing yourself in an experience.
You might enter reveling by closing your eyes and using your imagination to remember the experience. Or maybe you are called to connect with how this experience lives in your physical body. Maybe you witness the sacred eruption from the viewpoint of your Wisdom Self. Maybe you open into the emotional landscape that is there for you. Perhaps you explore potentials that spin out from that sacred eruption, each one a full reality that you are inhabiting right now. Your Intuitive Wisdom knows exactly how to revel in your sacred eruption.
If the sacred eruption that you are guided to has challenging or traumatic aspects there is no need to connect with anything that is not truly nourishing. You have been guided to touch this material because there is spiritual power here for you to reclaim. Ask your Intuitive Wisdom to connect you with reveling in a way that is life giving in this moment and know that you are always free to adjust how you are connecting.
As you revel, ask your Intuitive Wisdom to light up what you “Know” in this experience. Knowings are revelations beyond cognitive thought. Knowing are things that no one has to tell you, prove to you and that you do not need to “learn.” The Knowing is revealed. Every awakening experience comes with revelations. These contain incredible spiritual power. But often, due to invalidations and lack of mentoring, the full power of those revelations is not brought to bear.
Claim what you Know by grounding it in a physical body. This can be accomplished through writing, drawing, making marks on paper, recording an audio of you speaking. It is important to translate the energy of the Knowing onto to physical plane in some way. This is part of the process of turning revelations into realizations.
You may also find yourself sounding or moving your physical body as a way to channel the presence of the revelation. How does this Knowing speak, sound, move, dress, etc?
Choose to claim this revelation as yours. Validate that you Know it. You do not require any outer validation for your Knowing.
Notice in your own way that Your knowing is alive. When you revel in your Knowing you are vibrating in what I call the “revelation frequency.” This is a bandwidth of awareness of incredible vibrancy.
In your own way, revel in the revelation frequency. If you notice disconnection you can always use your Knowing as a pathway of return. Your Knowing and the revelation frequency are one and the same.
Over the next week or two regularly enter this practice of reveling in your sacred eruptions and claiming your Knowing. Each time your Intuitive Wisdom may guide you to a different sacred eruption. Or it may be the “same” one.
One Knowing is a portal for all Knowing.
Each time you return, you will deepen into the revelation frequency, clarifying your Knowing and reclaiming more spiritual power for conscious use. You may find that throughout your days you notice that you are in the revelation frequency more often and surprise insights begin to flow with ease.
Your intuitive wisdom will tell you when you are complete with this step.
Set whatever revelations you recorded aside. All that you have archived in steps 1-3 will weave together in the final 2 steps.
When you reach your natural completion, take a moment to invite appreciation for all that you brought to greater consciousness. Dedicate your revelations to positive expansion for all beings. Then rest for a few minutes before moving into whatever is next in your spiritual awakening journey.
